California CareerZone
California CareerZone offers free web-based career information and provides self-assessment tools, occupational descriptions including skills and required training, labor market information, and occupational videos.

ASVAB Career Exploration Program
The ASVAB was developed by the U.S. Department of Defense. The ASVAB Career Exploration Program was developed with input from a panel of career development experts and designed to encourage students to increase their level of self-knowledge and to understand how that information could be linked to civilian and military occupational characteristics.

Encouragement Services, Inc.
The Career and Postsecondary Encouragement Network® Universal Encouragement Program (UEP) is an online guidance assessment, reporting, and communications system designed to help counselors and other education support professionals document and respond to students' career and education needs, interests, and experiences. ESI offers the UEP at no cost to schools and education support programs.

MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) is an inventory that measures individual preferences by personality types: introversion or extroversion, sensing or intuition, thinking or feeling, and judging or perceiving. This inventory provides references to occupational considerations based on the individuals personality type.

SII (Strong Interest Inventory) measures an individuals interests in a broad range of occupations, work activities, leisure activities, and school subjects. The SII is an essential resource for:
