Personal Information

Your name, phone numbers, e-mail, mailing address, and other personal information are collected when you register to join our mailing list or register for training. Information from training registration form will be used to process your registration. If you choose to join our mailing list, your physical address will be used for future mail out of career tools and resources. News and announcements on career guidance tools and resources, education, training, and other related topics may be delivered via e-mail. Please note that e-mail is optional on the mailing list form. Your Information will not be shared with a third party. The information is not collected for commercial marketing purposes and CalCRN does not sell or distribute any information collected from the website for commercial marketing purposes.

If you send an e-mail to CalCRN, your e-mail address, first name, last name, date/time sent and other contents of your e-mail will be collected. Your e-mail address and the information contained in your e-mail will be used to respond to you, to address issues you identify, to further improve this website, or to forward your e-mail to another agency for appropriate action if applicable.

The site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.

Correcting, Updating, or Deleting Personal Information

If a user’s personal information changes (i.e. address, area code, etc.), the user can fill out another form and CalCRN will update it in the database. The user can also call 916-323-6544 or e-mail the new information to CalCRN. If you choose to unsubscribe your e-mail from our mailing list, please follow the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the e-mail sent from CalCRN or e-mail an unsubscribe request to CalCRN. The above actions may also be taken if you choose to unsubscribe your physical address from our mail out list.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to significantly change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our home page and/or send notification e-mail to those on our mailing list.

Career Surfer does not require users to provide any personally identifiable information in order to download or use the application. The Career Surfer application does not collect any personally identifiable information. All content is stored locally by this application.
