How do we know TRGS works?
There is a vast collection of testimony and descriptive information about the effectiveness and value of TRGS from almost 10 years of piloting the program in 10 countries. Much of this information has come from extensive applied research conducted in Canada and the United States in the mid-1990’s and has been confirmed by the millions of persons who have utilized TRGS since.
Empirical research models to formally document the short term and long term impacts of TRGS are being designed and undertaken in several TRGS partner countries, including the United States. Schools participating in this piloting effort will also provide valuable information on the effectiveness of TRGS in meeting its learning objectives, performance measures and the goals of No Child Left Behind.
